Just what I needed

I wanted a CD player in my Nissan truck so I could listen to audiobooks. This one wasn't too expensive and it works fine. I did not install it myself and had a mechanic do it. The radio as well as the CD player works fine and I've had no problems with it after using it for 6 months. I've never used the remote and don't really understand why a person would need one but it is there if I ever do need it.

One minor complaint is that I can't figure out how to turn off the scrolling display - basically all I want to see is the time displayed. If anyone can tell me how to do this, I'd be most grateful!
GREAT!!!

Reviewer: SHOPPER44,
I was able to get my daughter the same exact radio that a big box store was selling for $50 less - all without any hassles, defects or problems. Will definitely buy from here again. 6 months later there is no problem with her radio.
great item

Great!! Radio I purchased this for my 2007 Suzuki Burgman 400 Which Fits Perfect in my Glove Box I really like it becuze it's more or Less China Parts,
Except the Romote which is made in China Pray that it will last a Long time as Remote goes, China not very good with Remotes,

But plays great and glad to have it installed,, Been thru 7 MP3 Players don't seem to last but 6 Months thru 1 Year, So this time Purchased a Auto Radio that will last 5 or 6 years or More ,Thank God...

Highly recommend, but not for older cars

Reviewer: J. Malek,
I bought this product almost a year ago and have overall had a great experience with it. My old car stereo was stolen, and so I decided to get one with a detachable faceplate, and haven't had a problem since. It's easy to use and pretty intuitive. This is where things got complicated: Not knowing that much about car stereos, I wasn't aware that it wouldn't be compatible with my '96 Honda. A change was made sometime after 1996, and newer stereos have a different plug system for installation. I had to purchase a $20 harness and have my husband SOLDER wires together in order for it to fit. Others may be more savy than I am, but it would be nice if sellers noted that newer stereos are only compatible with newer cars! We could have had a store like Best Buy install it for us, but decided to do it ourselves to save money.

Other than that, my main criticism is that there isn't really a place to put my fingers when I am pressing the faceplate into place--the whole thing is filled with buttons, etc. Other than that awkwardness, it's held up perfectly and still plays like new. I haven't used the remote control, because I'm usually the only one in the car, but it might come in handy for families who are taking turns controlling what's on the radio--you don't have to be in the front seat to change it.
